TimeMeter is a timing system developed by YellowOrb AB together with Axa Mountain marathon. It is a timekeeping system made for permanent installations. With the help of TimeMeter destinations can provide timing on a specific trail around the clock. The first installation of TimeMeter is along the new Peak Performance Vertical K trail in Åre. A path that goes from the square in Åre village to the peak of Åreskutan with one thousand meters of altitude constructed running over a scarce of 5 km. On the square there is a starting station where runners read their cards and receive a start signal. At Hummel cottage there is an intermediate station and on top of Åreskutan the final station. The fastest and the most recent results are displayed on a large screen at Peak Performance store in Åre.
